Description its very dark blue almost black has a just polished look so its shines. I found one very similar to my jug listed in the british museum as a ming jug. Its 13 cm tall and 33 cm wide

Im hopeing someone will help me identify my porcelian jug. I've asked researched and taken it to get appraised and i have had no luck. i would appreciate all the feed back i can get. I live in Phoenix AZ. so if any known information of someone in my area will be very much appreciated. Thank You,

Well the markings are Chinese, you'd best have it physically appraised by someone who specializes in Chinese porcelain. I'd suggest sending images of it to either Christies.com or Sothebys.com.

the markings on the side say 'made during the reign of the Xuande emperor"

The xuande emperor reigned during the Ming dynasty (14th century)

It this is not  a 20th century replica it might be worth a fortune. Please keep me up to date, im really curious to what its worth
