Description
Solid cedar chest about 3 feet wide by 5 feet long by 2 feet tall. Outside is finished in something shiny like polyurethane. Inside is rough cedar wood. Corners and hand holds are in solid metal (iron?). Small legs on bottom. carved, raised top. Give to me at least 40 years ago by a grandmother so must be over 50 years old.
Re: Solid Cedar Wood Chest with metal hand slots
I still have mine from my childhood too.
Re: Solid Cedar Wood Chest with metal hand slots
These were often originally 19th Century Carpenter's tool chests, converted in the 1970's and 80's by dealers to Blanket boxes. We'd retail one for about $250.00 these days.
