STEIGEL or Type? Diamond Optic Pattern Hand Blown Flask Amethyst Glass

By fosterclarke14, 16 September, 2014
Description

Steigel or (type)  flask, diamond optic pattern, Pontil marked, no initials or signatures, or evidence of tampering that I can see. 5 1/4  inches tall, 3 3/4 inches wide.

Has 18 diamonds in the pattern as indicated by the stickers in the photo.

Some small bubbles, fine scratches, a wavy line on one side that can be felt when you run fingers over it.

Found at an estate sale, I don't know if its original or reproduced.

Currenty in an online auction and it jumped from $10 to $200 very fast. I would like to be able to tell if its actually an original or not.
