Usually with these types of silver, unless theres a collector who likes it or there is a makers mark on it, the worth of a silver mug is by how much silver is in it. I find the design interesting though. It looks something like what the masons used on there cups back in the 1940's. I would suggest taking it to a collector and and see what they think before putting a price on it.

 who were the masons?  really clueless with this stuff,  ive been searching online for who a possible manufacturer could be and for a possible era it was created in.  My grandfather was given it back in 1980 by his sister who had bought it at an antique shop in montreal.  thanks for the info
