each consists of a solid glass globe handblown with bubbles, on the bottom ]is the mark "steuben" on a banner over the Fleur de Lys. the globe sits atop a square molded black glass base that has a hole for the base of the globe to sit in. inside of the black glass base is a built in bulb receptacle and switch as well as the wiring for them. the plug is a standard, ungrounded U.S plug. these also had some colored glass discs that were intended to place between the light and the globe which would change the color of the light reflecting through the globe. i believe these to have been made in the 1920's. i think the wiring has been updated but some of the original cloth wrapped wiring remains. one is in great shape but the other has a "bruise" in the globe and a hairline crack in the base.
