stone item

Description

this piece has been in my family as long as i can remember..i do not know if my grandfather brought it back from over seas or my father from the korean war.my pictures do not show the the flowers and such are carefully carved all through the stone leaving delicate flowers and such the top is carved like two vases or such, i my family is gone now so no one to answer anything for me.my pictures are not very good but if you look carefully you will be able to see the daylight thru the stone carving showing how fine the flowers and such have been carved

It looks like some sort of Jade, jade comes in many colors other than the usual green. You'd need a physical appraisal of it to determine what type.
