Stone Mace with Cat Head

Profile picture for user occultauctions

Description

STONE MACE

It is about 12" inches long and is heavy. It's not metal, maybe basalt or similar stone. Feels like stone. Origin unknown but it came from an estate with many other very rare antiques. Possibly Chavin, Peruvian or similar pre-columbian mace.

The head figure at the top may be a cat, lion, puma?!? Not sure.

Any help would be greatly appriciated!
