Description This is a clear bottle that measures 8 1/2" tall with a 3 1/2" base. it comes up to a narrower neck and a 'blank' top with no threads. The diameter of the from edge to edge is 2". But the most interesting part of this bottle is the text. It reads "SUCTION: Do not permit bottle to be filled above this line" and the line is only 4 1/2" from the base of the bottle. I'm not sure how old this is or anything. If you know anything about this type of bottle, please help me out. I appreciate the help that I have received from this community so far, as I come across random odd things all of the time. I clean out old houses and buildings and usually help tear them down and recycle all the good parts. I also 'inherited' a lot of things from my Great Grandmother's estate- basically otherwise a lot of it would have just been thrown away. I still regret all of the stuff I didn't get a chance to get from there that got put into a hole on private land and filled over. There was a whole basement full of Mason jar, for instance, which I didn't get a chance to get to before they were demolished. I still kick myself over that. You guys know how it is once you get into it, it breaks you up to see these great things of the past destroyed. Anyhow. Thanks for any help, and thank you for your patience with my frequent postings.
