Description

The Susquehanna picture was painted in 1856 by the artist Jasper Francis Cropsey (J. Cropsey). This picture is very large, approximately 4' long and 3' tall.  It is printed on a hard board with no glass covering. It has a gold colored plaque on the bottom center that has his name engraved on it and the painting name "The Susquehanna". It has the original paper backing and wire hanging piece. This piece has been owned by one family since the late 40's early 50's. 

Excellent condition no scratches or tears.
