Re: Swastika bowl
Using Google translate, the German words in your fourth image translate to "Officer helmet". The second word was harder to translate due to the letter after B being somewhat obscured. Did a quick search for the word Elsenborn and it mentioned the battle of the bulge. I wonder if that means it was an officer's, one who fought at Elsenborn. I would imagine that the item was made in Duisdorf Germany and the crest is the maker's symbol. I can't read the word within that crest enough to try translating it.
