Description I don't know much about this item. Right now I have 6 chairs, 5 without armrests and one with, and a large table. The table's top comes off the intricate 5-leg base. There's a hand-written tag attached under the table top that says it was made in Georgia, but no date. I only have pictures of one chair with arms right now, but this style is the same throughout the entire set. I believe the seats might have been re-upholstered at some point. Does anyone know the origins of this set? Is it something mass-produced, or unique? The "No. 172" seems to indicate it was part of a line, possibly a style number or serial. I apologize for the dust in the photos.

This is indeed a mass produced suite in the Colonial Revival style. Most date post 1900 to the early 1930's. This one is based on "William & Mary" style furniture originally made 1690-1725. Values tend to be modest, with comparable sets selling for under $500.00 at auction.
