Table, Chairs and Sideboard - Early 1900's

Description

This set of tables, chairs and sideboard were purchased by my parents in 1965 from the owners of the home we bought.  I seem to recall them saying they paid a couple thousand dollars for it back then, but I don't have a clear recollection of the exact amount.

The set of furniture was manufactured by Angeles Furniture Company in Los Angeles and is stamped in several locations with their name and a serial number.  (photo attached)

The table is especially unique in that the extra leafs are stored under the table top hung on a slim metal rod.  To add a leaf to the table, one slides the top halves apart and swings one or both of the additional leafs into place.  Then simply slide the table top halves together and it's done.

The top of the table and the top of the sideboard both have wear showing - the entire set needs to be refinished - I believe the wood is mahogany but I'm not certain.

I'd like to get some idea of what the set is worth at this time.  It's been in my garage for 20 years and we finally decided it was time to free up some space.

Thanks!

Based on the blonde finish and markings it's unlikely this set predates the mid 1950's. Blonde sets like this in need of refinishing currently have very modest values, most in this condition sell at auction where we  rarely see then sell for over $350.00
