We could use a bit more to go on, it should be easy to obtain. I notice, for example, what appears to be a label on the side in your image, what does it say? Any markings on the bottom? How tall is it? (I am guessing 3 feet by your photo) What you have is likely one of two things. It's most likely a piece of decorative art glass mass produced and sold in department stores and some were given out as prizes at fair grounds etc. Around the 1970's era. Today those items would probably retail around $40 +/- as there are a lot available still. It could also be a production piece from a glass artist/ glass artworks company. If you can find markings to indicate a major glass works company or artist, then the price goes up. Then it really depends on who and where it was produced. The prices range from $70 to thousands for them, depending on who made it and what shape it is in. But you most likely have the first type. Meant only to be decorative they will hold some dried flowers if you wanted. It's an interesting piece, but not overly valuable I believe. Thanks for sharing it with us!

The label on the bottle is Vino Veritas #223040 and it was on the bottle when I got it so I really don't know if it was put on the bottle or came on the bottle. Janice

"Vino Veritas" is Latin for 'in wine - truth' which means that when you drink a lot of wine you get very loose with what you keep secret. (AKA drunk!) There are books with this saying and a winery with this name. It looks like you have a label from one of their bottles (they produced normal wine bottles!) that someone was likely being 'funny' and has probably peeled off and stuck to your glass art. I have been looking but have not come across another example of this 'wine bottle' anywhere. I still suspect you have a nice simple piece of glass art to enjoy! 250chief
