Description

My mother owns a tea cup that we can not find any information on, any place. All it says on the bottom of the tea cup is "Mercator Bavarian Germany".  The cup and saucer both have Cobalt Blue background, with four, white pedaled flowers around the cup and on the saucer. They are trimmed out in possibly silver or mercury, and the 3 legs of the tea cup, as well as the handle, are completely coated with the same silver color. I am wondering if you could help us in finding out more about this cup? I almost got the impression when looking at the flower is was Japanese inspired. Thank you  very much, Merri Petzold
