Found in box of family items.  Directly related to Arendt Van Curler who the Hotel was named after.

Has engraved directly on metal (not an attached piece) crest and hotel name on front,  

 

IS IT OK TO CLEAN THIS WITH SILVER POLISH??

This pieces is preety typical of silverware made for commercial usage. It tends to be of heavier construction than pieces made for the domestic market, but is not in great demand unless there is a provenace to it's use by a famous person who stayed at the hotel- EG. Cary Grant. In the current market comparble pieces often sell for less than $50.00 at auction.
