Description

6 Piece Service marked "James Dixon and Sons" over the word Sheffield.  Mark looks like a lion on one side of a family crest or shield and a horse on the other side.  I have tried to research the mark and believe it refers to the set being what is called "Old Sheffield Plate."  There is a small dent in one of the pots but otherwise the set is in beautiful condition.  I would be interested in knowing what the resale value might be.
