Textured green bowl with lid.

Description

Pale green textured bowl with metal screw on lid.20 inches in diameter,about 2 1/2 inches tall.No markings to be found.I know its fairly old,was found in moms stuff after she passed.Would like to know what it was for and value.

Mom had it packed away in her stuff for many years.When she passed 16 years ago is when I came across it.Only thing wrong is the metal lid is a bit rusty but opens well.
