Thailand 144 pc set

Appraisal complete
Description

We would like to know who made this 144 piece flatware set and what year. We think it might be Johnny Gem made because of the style of the box and it says Thailand on the locks. The box is in fair condition same with the green lining. The Bronze? and wood flatware need to be polished but nothing broken and all pieces are there. I have seen similiar sets. These do not have any figure or markings on the bottom. Please let us know what you think an estimated value will be. Thank you

These have been mass produced for the tourist and export market for a great many years now, most brought back by troops stations in Japan, Korea and Vietnam. Such sets routinely sell on Ebay for less tahn $150.00.
