Hand painted pink rose chains around top, bottom, and on lid. Gold trim and spout. Bottom of teapot says "Theodore Haviland, Limoge, FRANCE, Patent Applied For".

My fathers aunt lost her son in the war in France in the 1920s, His body was never found and our government paid for the parents to travel to France for a tribute. This was in the 1920s. She purchased this teapot on her trip.
