Description

This was my mother's and for as long as I can remember, she kept it on a curio shelf and never used it.. From what I understand regarding its history, alot of my mom's "antiques" came from her father who was a groundskeeper for one of the elite Connecticut manufacturing families who had summer homes in Springdale CT (early 1900's).

I tried researching online and the only 3 legged tea strainer with a wooden handle that I was able to find was a 19th century strainer by Francois-Julien Doyon; all other pictures of tea strainers don't have legs.  The only identifying mark I can see is a "90" on the bottom.  It's 5 3/4" in legnth.  Bowl is 2 3/8" in diameter, 1 " deep and scalloped.  the Handle is 3 3/4" long with 2 1/4" of it being wood.
