The book is published by W.B.Conkey Company ,there are not dates of any kind in the book. There is a Chrismas poem:Christmas Greetings From A Fairy to A Child (Christmas 1867) printed in the book before chapter one. This story is 187 pages long and illustrated by John Teenniel. Then there is a story by Louisa M. Alcott-Flower Fables.

The top inch of the back binding is ripped off and the cover is loosley attached. 

The illustration appear to be ink block engravings.

Wear and tear around the edges of the book.

This book once bellonged to :The Union Cirulating Library Company,of Springfield MO,President E.A. Estep(there is a paper glued into the back cover giving this information. I could find know information on this company.

Hi:  Your book was published around1900 by this Chicago publisher.  Sorry to say that it is a reprint and worth about $5.00.  If you had the 1872 1st of Through The Looking Glass you would be $15,000 richer!
