Description Hi, I've been in Nepal for over two months and I happened upon an antique shop in Thamel, Katmandu, a few weeks ago. I was very taken with the items in the shop, including old Tibetan silverware, plates and silver walking sticks, spoons, plates, bowls, as well as bronze statues, old lanterns, wood masks, etc. Also a collection of Nepali craftwork, jewelry and precious stones. Including some curiosities such as as Tibetan pocket knife from around 1840, a bronze lantern, wire work and religious artifacts. Also gemstones and Tibetan quarts. Also conch shells and musical instruments, all antique. I have some experience of antiques and was an archaeologist for many years, and it all looks authentic, and Sunil tells me it is. He is desperate to sell the contents of his shop to pay off a loan. I will receive an inventory in the next couple of weeks. Some photos attached, more available. I think just a few items have considerable value, as well as many collector items. I need to know if these items have value, and I can I export them freely into Australia? Advice required, please let me know of any costs incurred. Miles
