History
Unknown. We do not even know if this is an American piece or not. We love this piece and it continually amazes us to see antique pieces survive the decades of wear and turmoil! We have been unsuccessful finding information about it, and have failed to find any other piece(s) like it. We especially have failed to find any buffet/sideboards with a locking cabinet on the side! Additional photos of any specific elements can also be obtained if it's helpful. It's a puzzle/curiosity for us, and we hope you can help. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking. :)

This piece is an example of
This piece is an example of what's referred to as the "Elizabethan Revival"style. Such pieces were loosley based on early English Elizabethan furniture, but were made from the turn of the 19th Century into the 1920's.Such pieces were made on both sides of the Atlantic , but this one I feel is an English example . Value wise most comparable piecessell for under $800.00.
