The Berkey & Gay Furniture Company was incorporated in August, 1873, and was well known for its quality suites. Bedroom suite pieces like this one date from the mid 1920's through early 30's and tend mix of late 18th century to early 19th Century styles. Values for these pieces depend a great deal on condition, as refinishing cost can exceed the value of a piece in good original condition. Demand is not currently strong for pieces like this, most sell for under $250.00 at auction.
