Re: Toy helicopter w/ blinking lights picking up astronauts ...

Hi there. This is a very nice and hard to find toy made by Yonezowa of Japan. I've collected helicopter toys for quite some time and am still hoping to add this version to my collection someday. It's quite valuable; I've seen in sell in the $200-300 range without the box. And, I've seen it come in at $475 with the box (box in nice condition) twice. Box restoration can be done, but it can be quite expensive. I've only done one box restoration I can think of: I used Randy's Toy Shop at 165 North 9th Street Noblesville, IN 46060 317-776-2220. I think I paid $145 for the box restoration plus shipping. They do very nice work. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me at [email protected] - best of luck!

Thanks for the post. I have been in touch with Randy and now that I hear from you that he does good work I feel comfortable sending my box...he did say is was going to be 200+ but I feel alot better after your post. How about repairs? Doesn't work but I suspect just a simple electric problem, maybe just the switch. Is randy a go place for that as well or so you have another recommendation?
