AI Appraisal
Description
This is a trumeau mirror, white with heavy gold paint; the mirror is beveled and the painting appeard to be on board (wood); the painting is very nicely done and I did remove the back to remove it to find any markings or a signature and there was none. It appeared to have small older looking nails in it. There is a small crack on the left side (actuall side; at the bottom) but it doesn't detract and isn't that large.
I suspect this is a repro or newer item but I know absolutely nothing about this stuff. I need a valuation for my insurance company as I am doing a home inventory. Thank you.
I believe the item must be at minimum worth what I paid; the cost of the beveled uniquely shaped mirror alone would probably cost that much and I think it would cost quite a bit to make this.
Attached is a photo.
