These wardrobe trunks were pretty generic items, without a label of some sort there's not much to tell. Most like this one tend to date from the first quarter of the 20th century. You got a good deal for $50.00, we retail a trunk like this for at least three times that.

Hi, I just found this site today. I'm trying to get into antiques a little bit. I'm finding some things are hard to search for , so this site seems pretty cool in that someone can look at your item and then pull from their own experiences to help you figure details about your item. Anyways, i been looking at your comments "Lovejoy" and it looks like you are very knowledgeable about a wide range of items.
