Was told this is a hand-painted brass vase from Turkey

Heavy base, 1.5 lbs

Looks to be cast in 2 pieces (top and bottom) joined at the neck

History Found at a Turkish Bazaar. I am under the impression this could be a replica vase meant for tourist.
I was told it was hand-painted brass vase from the Ottoman Empire- around 100 years old.

There are no distinguishable markings in the metal to signify artist or company names.
