Twin Fishers Ivory (ivory resin?) statue set.

By steverz, 7 June, 2016
Description

These have been owned by my family for over 40 years.  Purchased from an antiques dealer in Belgium.  Provenance before that is unknown.

I can't tell for certain, but I think these are Ivory or ivory-resin, and are about 20" tall each.  It is not soapstone as I thought, not wood, not plastic.  And being in a completely smoke-free environment since my family has had them, they have slowly been aging and turning a hue of yellow and darker yellowing in some areas.   They've never been cleaned other than dusted.

There are Chinese IMPRESSED MAKER'S SEALS on the bottom.  There is some weight to them.

Anyone have any idea of the maker's mark or the value, or style, or anything about this twin set? :)

Never damaged.  No knicks, or scratches.  Perfect condition for these 'vantiques'.

Thanks all!

-Steve
