Two Asian Gunmetal black vases with maker marks / same theme

I just acquired two asian vases with makers marks on them. I believe they are made of gunmetal and they are black with a goldish inlay. It seems each vase has a different makers mark, thus I come to the conclusion that they are not a set. However, they have basically the same theme as one another. The condition is most likely Good - Fair. Could someone please tell me who made each vase and a general value of each vase by itself? I would really appreciate the help being as I have looked around and have not been able to find these exact vases that have maker marks on them.

It is around 8.5 inches high and around 2.5 inches wide at widest point.
The one with the sun or moon on it is around 8.4 inches high and around 2 inches wide at widest point.

Sorry but not everything gets appraised, this is the only place you're going to get information free to be best of my knowledge and you unfortunately get what you pay for unless your item is interesting or obviously worth something. These appear to be export works or tourist pieces made within the past 50 years. I don't see much value here, maybe $20-25 each at best.

Your peices are a Japanese art form called Chokin....Chokin is made from layers of different metals, that are then carved down in relief to create the picture of the different colors.  They are not expensive though, nor are they very old....most likely late 20th C....but they sell for $20-35 each if in excllent condition.
