Description

recieved painting from 92 year old deceased grandma. She recieved from mother at the age of 20. painting has been in storage until recently. I estimate age is 100 + years old. Frame is intricate in appearance. Cannot find an artis signature though I have not removed original paper backing because it is very old and brittle. I was curious if it had any value other than sentimental value. Does age become a factor? Thank you. Donald Benoit

Based on the images and the fact it is under glass leads me to believe this is a mass produced religious print, pretty much produced from the late 19th century through to the 1930's. You'll have to take yours out of the frame to find out any punlishing information, it is usually located along the bottom edge left to right.
