Description
I would like to know how old this rocking chair is? Early 1800s is what I was told.
When I bought it, the man who sold it to me showed me a picture of the chair in an antique magazine. It was identical to the chair but down the spine part it looked like it had had a decal or painting on it. I have since repainted it. It was originally green flat paint, but when I stripped it,
5 other shades of paint came off.
