Description

upholstered Victorian chair with some ornate detailing in woodwork. Very heavy. Went to reupholster it and found hay in the sides for stuffing. The nails were very small and irregularly placed, which definitely indicated to me that they were hand pounded. Only one set of nails, so it's the original fabric. See photos. Was purchased in the 80s at an estate sale.
