Your piano's patent dates

Your piano's patent dates only indicate the time of the patent, not the date of manufacture, it could actually have been made as late as 1905. It is a late 19th century example though, its Eastlake style was popular during the last quarter of the 19th Century. As a general rule pianos over 50 years of age will need a complete internal rebuild, which can exceed the cost of replacement of a comparable restored example. For this reason older pianos of this type sell "as is" in the $500.00- $800.00 range.

Lovejoy
