Description

I am not sure if this was my grandfathers from when he searved in the ARMY or if it was given to him. But the sword and sheath have been kept in great condition and looks amazing with the very beutiful designs on the blade on both sides. I found one almost like it online but the markings were diffrent on the blade. The one online was from WWII and my grandfather said his is older than that. any information and value would be greatly appreciated.

Category Militaria
Medium metal of some kind

I put this on here before and got no response and had to repost because all my postings are gone now. can anyone tell me anything about this?

I think that all of your postings are still there. I looked under your "account" and clicked on the "Track" link and saw a bunch of old and new appraisal requests from you.

- Joseph

The sword is the stanrdard sword for the US Army. Still purchased today. We sell these in our store in mint/ new condition for 200.00. IF it has any damage to include and rust/ corrosion/ or dents in the scabbard it degrades the valve quite a bit.
