Valentine & Company 1852 Wood Lacquer Display Case

Valentine & Company Cedar Wood Display Case.  This has so much character it is amazing.  My Grandfather had this in his barn forever.  It is in excellent condition for it's age!  This company was bought out by Valspar.  The history is crazy on this box.  It has the original hinges, There is sheet metal between where each can of lacquer laid.  Some are missing.  All 4 sides of this display case have wood burned lettering.  All corners are tongue and groove.  This was definitely handmade.  I have checked with several antique dealers and they have never seen one of these.  There are many different brand boxes out there but nothing like this!  Not on e-bay.  I have checked every site and this was the only box made by this company.  There are ads, cans of lacquer but not any display cases.  I would like to know if anyone out there knows the value of this amazing piece of history.
