Description

Would like some info...On the bottom of vase the number 24 is written in blue with another black mark somewhat faded..off to the side is a green 7 or L not really sure and a stamp that says "NOT FOR FOODD!! MAY POISON" (The exclamation points are curled at the top like two backwards question marks.. also, there is either an extra D in the word food or a U not sure. The vase also has a the crackle look to it. Any info would be appreciated..thanks

Vase is a fish bowl and was probably made, but don't quote me, in the 1980's or 90's. They sold them in any number of retail and garden shops. I've seen some that are larger and some smaller than yours. Some were hand painted but most I've seen were applicque. There are older ones that do not have the Not for food stamp. The lead in the glaze and paint I believe is the reason. Import ware from china most likely.
