This vase is made of brass. We have two decortive blackend brass vase's. Ethched in floral motief. Both have the same markings on the back of the vase. Which is one long line with a shorter line either side, there are two quotion like marks about 2cm above the lines. There is no markings under the vase's. Don't wish to sell them at this stage, would like to know how much the set is worth.

Re: Vase

Mid-20th century from India-brass, hand etched vases with decorative value up to $40/pair. I have several, myself & think they are very pretty!

Re: Vase

Thank you for your response. Was I right in thinking the marks on the back are craftmans marks?
