Description

I have a vase that my Grandad brought back from WWII - he was stationed in Germany.  The vase has a marking with a Crown then under it - looks like a shield with three feathers - feather end is facing upwards.  The vase also has a number under the glaze 2639.  There is also another number that looks handwritten - 41 on the bottom of the vase and the lid of the vase has a number 4....  The vase has two angels on each side and has a bunch of little 3-D flowers....the vase is trimmed in what looks to be gold...

It's a Dresden style vase, but similar examples were also made in Italy called the Capodimonte style. I'd need to see an image of the marking, as this piece appears more Italian than German.
