The gold has very elaborate leaves and beautiful Ram heads at the bottom. I actually might be off on the weight because it is very heavy.

hello and thanks for your posting. Your lamp dates from 1915-1920, the tail end of the victorian period of decoration in the US. I believe it is US made, by the way, not an interational item -- but it could be French or English. Your lamp would be popular with collectors and would sell easily in the $225 range. I believe full market would be about $325. Obviously, the light bulbs are incorrect. It would have had small wide base circle bulbs that stayed below the leaves of the flowers. Great item! Enjoy it ...
