This framed oil is by an artist that I am not familiar with but quite lovely. The tag on the back states that the artist, Mario Salvatore, was born in Udine, Italy in 1897. He studied in Trieste and Monaco. He served in the Russian Army and was awarded prizes for his artwork in shows in 1932, 1937, and 1938. The framed size of this oil on canvas is 31.5 X 54.5.
