I regularly go to estate sales and am first to be there. This particular estate sale was an incredible estate of someone who obviousloy collected large pieces of Oriental Sculptures and Jade. This horse is embellished with so many details, flowers on the bridle, saddle, etc. The mane is all black jade hand carved, and even the eyes are white jade with black jade for the pupils. The teeth are individually carved white jade. The signature is on the side of the saddle. All colors of jade were used in this piece. No one so far has been able to give me any appraisal, even though I belong to several large auction house appraisal companies. They said it needs to be appraised by someone who is an expert in Oriental Art and Jade. ANY information would be helpful. Pictures are below.
