Very Small Vase Type Container - Asian Origin

Description

I know very little about this piece. It was left by the previous owner of the house that I now live in, with whom I had no contact.

 

It appears to be a small perfum container of some kind. I have uploaded pictues of all angles for identification purposes.

Distinguishing marks
as shown in the picture showing the base, the markings are characters in an asian script

there does not appear to be any damage to the outer carvings on the bottle and no discolouration or chippings can be seen.
