Description
In my opinion it looked close to perfect in condition - no cracks or fractures, perfect floral picture, no chips. Now it is smashed from falling during our earthquake in February 2011. We would love to get some sort of idea about replacement value in order to notify our insurers.

My grandfather fought in WWII so I can only assume he came to own it sometime around then. There are no other markings apart from the crown with Austria below and I'm certain Victoria above.

Here's a link regarding the company that made this piece ( see below), But I wouldn't bother about an insurance claim for it. This company mass produced china, values for bowls like yours by them are often less than $50.00
