Description

This chair has been in our family for generations. I was told by my father that he was told by his grandmother Longfellow that it is from their side of the family. I am not sure if it was HWL or not.

It's a late Victorian example in the Empire style. Victorian Furniture is currently not selling very well, after big run ups in value during the 1980's to mid 90's. At auction these platform rockers now sell for under $150.00.
