Vilolin

Appraisal complete
Description This violin was played by my grandfather in 1908-1909 at the Philadelphia Academy of Music. He received it from his father as a gift. He played it up until his death in 1969. It has been sitting on a shelf in my parents home and my dad was gonna throw it out! I saved it from the dump and had it professionally restrung and cleaned. The tag reads "Alexander Galiani fecit Neapoli 1765". I know nothing about it, can find nothing about it. I am grateful for any help. Mike
