Description

I have a Antique drum from D.R. Campbell Machine Company Massachusetts. It has a Camel Tobacco Company logo, possibly a tobacco drum? It's been stored in my grandfathers basement since sometime in the late 40's to 50's. He has lived in the house since he came home from WW2. The number on it is 8-2200, a boston telegraph number from somewhere around1892 to the1920's before actual telephone numbers existed. It was made for or by D.R. Campbell Machine Company, Boston Mass. somewhere between the 1890's early 1920's. It is made of a hard cardboard type fiber. It is in very sturdy condition with lid. It has a couple all stains on front, but I think it adds to the distressed/utilized look. I haven't been able to find another like it online. Any information would be helpful.
Thank you,

James
