Vintage Asian stacked elephants

Description

This piece is 15 1/4 in. Tall.  Fairly heavy maybe 3 or 4 lbs. Base is 5 in. By 3/12 in. Nice solid piece. I'm pretty sure it's not plastic.  Ivoy?  Top too elephants broke off at some time. Looks hand carved but I don't really know. It doesn't look like it greatest carving ever .  The markings on the bottom do make interesting, that mark and like a token, sealed in a wax or plastic on bottom     Any help would help.      The only history I know on it.  Is that it was bought at an antique shop years ago, he didn't know for how much.  Thanks
