Vintage Ceramic "Tea Pot"

Description

Heres another piece of mother-in-laws collection left to us.  I think it is a teapot but know less than nothing about ceramics and porcelains.
Pot measures 7"h x 10 1/2"w .
On the bottom it reads:

Made in Italy

Hand Painted

Made in Italy

History
My wife’s mother collected porcelain and china nearly her whole life. She died last year at 93 so know most of her collection has to be pretty old.
