Description

These chairs have a tag on the cushion "American Furniture Company, Martinsville, VA" They are a dark espresso wood with dark gold paint on the interior frame. There is a stock number "2510-535, 328-13" on the cushion's tag. There are 4 armless chairs and 2 chairs with arms. I bought these from a neighbor for $5 each.

History The tag on the cushion appears to be very old. The stamp on the tag says "American Furniture Company" only. Researching online, that company started in the late 1920s through the 1960s. It looks like that company merged with Drew Furniture in the early 70's, and then become American of Martinsville later.
